Welcome to Intertwinings! My name is Stephanie Fox, and I am an ordained minister through Universal Life Church and the Church of Spiritual Humanism, authorized to perform weddings throughout the State of Maryland. I am passionate about bringing your wedding ceremony, handfasting, and other family and spiritual rites to life! I support marriage equality and honor all religious, spiritual, and secular backgrounds.

I met my husband in 2005, and five years later, we celebrated our union in a Jewish-Pagan interfaith wedding/handfasting ceremony. It was during the planning for the next step in our lives that I developed a sincere passion for creating, customizing, and celebrating a unique ceremony that perfectly expressed our values and beliefs. And now, I wish to share that same experience with you!

I am delighted to help you by providing a wealth of choices to create your very own wedding or handfasting ceremony. When your guests ask if you wrote your ceremony yourself, you can proudly say you did! Each ceremony will be hand-crafted and will be absolutely meaningful in every way, with uniqueness and personality that only you can provide.

I strongly feel that a wedding day is the most cherished in a person’s life, perhaps second only to the birth of their children (and being a mother, I can say with confidence that the two truly rival each other! But shh, don’t tell my husband...). As your officiant, I will strive to help you celebrate your wedding day with the same level of joy, individuality, and seamlessness as I felt on my own.
